Available Positions
KS&EW is recruiting across a broad spectrum of roles. Here is a summary of the key positions:
Managerial & Supervisory Roles: Assistant/Deputy Manager (Hull Engineering) with 6 posts, Assistant/Deputy Managers (Procurement Reproduction & Distribution) with 2 posts, and Assistant Manager (Machinery Movement/Transfer System) with 1 post are available for candidates holding BE in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Ship Construction, or related fields with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and an age limit of up to 45 years.
Senior Supervisors & Technical Assistants: Sr. Supervisor/Supervisor (Mechanical) with 14 posts covering Pipe Fabrication, Welding, Brazing, Steel Fabrication, Hull Mounting, and Grit Blasting. Sr. Supervisor/Supervisor (Electrical) with 4 posts for Equipment Mounting and STW. Sr. Supervisor/Supervisor/Sr. Technician (TA) with 48 posts covering Technical Order Writing, Work Preparation, Scheduling, and Mechanical/Electrical/Piping/Welding roles. Minimum qualification is DAE/B.Tech from a recognized institution with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Quality Control & QHSE Technicians: Sr. Technician (TA) QHSE with 5 posts requiring relevant certifications such as NEBOSH. Sr. Technician (TA) QC with 12 posts covering Hull, Welding, Electrical, Mechanical, Outfitting Piping, and Paint. Sr. Technician (TA) QC-NDT with 14 posts including RT Operator, UT Operator, MPI/DP Operator, and Dark Room Operator, with mandatory certifications in UT, RT, MT, and PT.
CAD/Ansys Operators & Lab Technicians: CAD/Ansys Operators with 4 posts requiring DAE in Mechanical/Marine/Civil with experience in Pro-E, Solid Works, Ansys, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Lab Sr. Technician/Lab Assistant (Pipe Pickling/Passivation/Wastewater Treatment) with 1 post requiring Lab TA DAE with 2 to 4 years of Chemical Lab experience.
Skilled Technicians (239 posts): This is the largest category, covering SMAW Welders (X-Ray), CO2 Welders, Gougers, Cold Benders, Light Steel Fabricators, Hot Press Operators, Grindermen, Carpenters/Joiners, GRP/Anechoic Tile Fixers, Insulators, Ship Painters, Grit Blasters, Pipe Fabricators, Pipe Filters, TIG/GTAW/Plasma Cutters, Plant Operators, Boiler Wastewater Treatment operators, Electricians, Electronic/Weapon & Sensors technicians, and Onboard Machinists. Minimum requirement is DAE in the relevant specialty or Matric with a relevant trade qualification certificate and 2 to 3 years of experience.
Other Positions: Internal Transport Driver (Tractor & Fork Lift Operator) – 02 posts. Office Assistant (OA)/Sub Assistant – 06 posts requiring Graduation or OA/Intermediate qualification with MS Office and typing speed of 30 WPM. Technical Store Keeper/Assistant Store Keeper – 05 posts. Unskilled Laborer – 20 posts. Sanitary Worker – 03 posts.
