Available Positions
1. Chairperson – Anatomy (03 Years Contract)
This is a senior leadership position open exclusively to medical doctors currently serving within the medical faculty. Candidates must be holding the position of Assistant Professor or higher. The appointment will be tenure-based for 3 years, renewable for two additional terms of three years each, subject to the Dean’s discretion and the Academic Council’s recommendation based on performance.
The selected Chairperson will receive a salary equivalent to the initial contractual pay of the same faculty posts eligible under KMC/KCD rules. Institutional Based Practice (IBP) for clinical Chairpersons will be mandatory. The selected doctor will not be permitted to practice medicine outside hospital premises. IBP perks and privileges will be admissible. This is essentially an honorary leadership role offering significant administrative experience.
2. Professor – Anatomy
Eligibility will be governed by the policy board for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MTI Act 2015 and PM&DC 2025 (amended from time to time).
3. Faculty Positions (Multiple Specialties)
Three faculty positions are available in the following specializations:
- Gynaecology & Obstetrics
- Cardiac Anaesthesia
- Electrophysiology
Eligibility regulations apply as per KP MTI Act 2015 and PM&DC 2025. Candidates must attach attested testimonials, CNIC, experience certificates, academic credentials (SSC/HSSC/MBBS) and original research publications. Candidates must also provide names, email addresses, contact numbers, and designations of at least three referees. Notably, for the Gynaecology & Obstetrics position, candidates with at least 2 years of training in Gynaecological Oncology are encouraged to apply.
4. Assistant Professors (Multiple Specialties)
Assistant Professor vacancies are available in the following fields:
- Gynaecology & Obstetrics (two posts)
- Medicine (a)
- Medicine (b)
- ENT
- Vascular Surgery
The same eligibility criteria apply as for faculty positions. Special notes include: candidates with 2 years of training in Maternal Fetal Medicine are encouraged for Gynaecology & Obstetrics post (4i), those with Urogynecology training for post (4ii), and Critical Care Medicine training for post (4iii)(a).
5. Assistant Warden – Female
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized university or institution. Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification relevant administrative experience in public or private sector Hospitals, Universities, or College Hostels.
6. Cook
Qualification: Illiterate candidates may apply. Preference will be given to those having at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
